Although commonly banned in higher ranks, these are the top Rainbow Six Siege Operators being used as of late April 2026.

The Top 3 Attackers

Ace: The best fragging support in the game. High-rank players are using his S.E.L.M.A.s as a massive distraction; toss one at a reinforced wall to pull a defender's crosshair, then immediately swing the doorway with the AK-12. His ability to force multiple angles from a safe distance makes him a nightmare to anchor against.

Solid Snake: He practically has unlimited explosive potential. Because of his On-Site Procurement (OSP) passive, he can loot secondary gadgets like Frags, Stun Grenades, or Smokes from any dead operator on the map. High-rank players are using him as a "Utility Sponge," clearing out half the site's traps with scavenged grenades and then using his Radar to wall-bang defenders who think they're safe around a corner.

Dokkaebi: Commonly banned in rank, she’s an absolute intel monster. The move now is "Logic Pinging", so calling right as the execute starts to keep defenders off their phones, then using hacked cams to red-ping them through smoke. It’s a free kill for your entry fraggers almost every time.

The Top 3 Defenders

Smoke: The "Shield-Bunker" strat is back. Pair him with a deployable shield or an Azami barrier and he can solo-hold a site for the last 45 seconds. With the buff to his gas lingering time, he can stagger his canisters to make the objective physically untouchable until the clock hits zero.

Azami: She’s still the queen of the defense because of her "One-Way Kibas." If you clip a barrier onto a doorframe at a specific angle, you create a pixel-gap where you can see the attacker’s feet but they see a solid wall. It’s forcing the attack to waste every explosive they have just to peek a room.

Mira: The "Double-Window Fakeout" is the current goated (bot) move. You put two mirrors side-by-side, pop one immediately, and leave the other closed. Attackers always focus on the open one, letting you get a free pick from the edge of the closed mirror because their crosshair placement is totally off.
